Ephesians 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: Habakkuk 2:2, 3 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
Gathering of the Eagles Ministries is called to teach, train, empower, and impart the prophetic view and mandate of God to His people. The theme scripture for the ministry is, “But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all thing which is the head, even Christ.” Esphesians4:15.
Over 10 years ago, the visionary, Pastor Vanessa Weatherspoon was inspired by the Holy Spirit to start the Gathering of the Eagles Ministries hosting quarterly prophetic conferences. These conferences are to foster and provide a safe place to be taught a healthy concise word and be exposed to the prophetic, rather the office of a Prophet or gift of prophecy.
There are many different dimensions, streams, and styles of the prophetic. There are prophetic worshippers, teachers, administrators, preachers, and presbytery. Again, these conferences were to provide healthy demonstrations of the prophetic.
So many times people have been wounded by the prophetic and have seen the prophetic misused and abused. On the contrary, many prophets have been rejected because of “Thus said the Lord,” the words that come out of their mouth. Therefore, the goal is to see the prophetic in its proper balance.
Another goal of this ministry is to introduce the body to the body. Many times in the body of Christ, you see the role of the Pastor, Teacher, and Evangelist, but not the Apostle and Prophet. It is important that every office is utilized and respected for its importance so that we will be effective in the body of Christ and to be effective Kingdom Builders.
Presently, we are doing monthly prophetic conferences entitled, “Let the Prophets Speak.” It is my prayer that you embrace this vision, share the vision, and run with the vision. May the spirit of this vision rest in your hearts as God continues to increase and increase.
